Dans  l’ azur  resplendissant, 		Into the resplendant azure sky,
La pure clarté descend  		Pure light descends
de nos fronts jusqu’  à  notre âme. 	On our heads, thence  into our soul.
Tout le monde est joyeux;  		everyone is joyous;
le bonheur est dans l’air! 	 	happiness is in the air!
Et  l’ oiseau qui  monte aux  cieux 	And the bird which climbs into the heavens
